Performing Arts

Shawnee Mission South recognizes the benefit of studying the arts for students to inspire creativity, to develop critical thinking skills, and to engage in problem solving and cooperative teamwork. Dedication to this curricular area helps prepare students for success in the concept and design age of the 21st century. The South Fine Arts Department continues to enjoy success and is proud to highlight the achievements of students and teachers.  On the right is a listing of our performing arts programs.
