Description: The purpose of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is to promote personal growth and leadership opportunities through Family and Consumer Science courses. FCCLA gives students an opportunity to address important issues related to families, careers, and their communities. FCCLA students compete at the local, state, and national level with individual or chapter projects, leadership skills, and career preparation.
Requirements: Any students who has previously taken or is currently enrolled in a Family and Consumer Science course is eligible to join.
Meetings and Events: FCCLA meets twice a month. Any student who joins FCCLA is eligible to compete is the local competition. If he or she qualifies, they can move on to compete in state and national competition. FCCLA is an all year club.
