Shawnee Mission South High School Counselors are available to assist students and parents with academic counseling and advisement, personal/social concerns, and post graduation plans relating to career and college. Please contact us at 913-993-7530 if you have any questions or concerns.
If you need assistance from a social worker or counselor regarding academics, mental health support, or resources, let us know.

Private School Shadow Days
We offer shadow days for current private school students who are interested in visiting Shawnee Mission South. The 2022-2023 Shadow Days are October 24th, November 14th, December 5th, January 23rd, and February 13th. The student checks in at the main office at 7:30 and should be picked up outside the main entrance at 11:20. Students who are currently attending Indian Woods Middle will have a day planned specifically for them in January. Please register HERE for an upcoming shadow day.
